23rd July 2022 Chalk Barn

Hi Judy,

After what felt like a hectic wedding week and a busy first week of honeymoon travelling through Scotland, we've finally had a moment to look back at our perfect day.

We honestly don't know where to start. We were so blind when it came to wedding flowers and came to you with only a few Pinterest ideas and you took our minimal suggestions and blew them into the perfect wedding arrangement.

We were so lucky to see the buckets of flowers at your house beforehand to then see what they transformed into. Jake really enjoyed a peaceful 10 minutes looking at the beautiful arrangements at the venue before our ceremony began.

The Wands for the flowergirls were absolutely perfect and the right size for them, I loved that the bridesmaids had a 'big girl' version of them and my bouquet was stunning. Jake's mum is in the process of drying some of it out for me to keep. The additions of buttonholes, corsages and Willow's gorgeous flower crown are going to look amazing in our photos.

Even though we've gone away, we've managed to tour around Scotland with Willows headband hanging in the front of the van and everything else has been shared out and dropped off to our lost loved ones that weren't there to share our day with us.

We're really looking forward to getting our pictures back from Charlotte and seeing how the flowers make the photos. As soon as we get them, we can't wait to share them with you!

' We loved working with Judy at Blooming Chic. As flower novice's we were unsure on what exactly we wanted or what would be in season. Judy worked with us to produce our stunning table favours, bridal and bridesmaid bouquets, button holes, thank you bouquet as well as fresh flowers for our wedding cake. Nothing was too much and she was always ready to help and talk through any ideas with us both. Judy was so understanding and supporting when we had a very close family tragedy which lead to us postponing our plans, not only was Judy kind and respectful, she also produced the most beautiful flowers for my mum's funeral. She then worked with us while we rearrange our plans and helped us to choose a few new flowers due to season changes. One thing that Judy did that meant so much to me was receiving a wedding card with a dried flower from my mum's funeral as well as her drying some that she added to my bouquet for the day. As a bride you need people around you that know what they are doing and you can put your trust in. This is exactly what Judy offers as well as being such a friendly and kind person and so easy to get along with.

Blooming Chic provided our beautiful table flowers for our garden for our renewal of vows in July. They were beautifully displayed in tea cups as it was our 20th wedding anniversary (china) and lasted for 2 weeks after our special day. Judy is very talented at arranging flowers and coming up with original displays. Very grateful to her for doing these.- Awards vote
